Review: Lush Jumping Juniper Shampoo

A couple of months back I bought a purple shampoo bar! I, personally, had never seen anything like this before so I decided to try it out. After using it for a couple of months this is my review.

Idea
I absolutely love the idea of shampoo bars. This little round bar is perfect for travelling, doesn’t need plastic containers and most of all is easy to use.

Duration
The great thing about this shampoo bar is that you won’t need a lot of it to wash your hair. You can apply it by rubbing it between your hands to create shampoo or by applying it straight to your hair. Even with long or thick hair, you won’t need much.

Smell
The Jumping Juniper I bought smells great! It smells like flowers, with a strong lavender scent. The bar is purple, like lavender, and when you look closely you can see it has kind of a texture that might be pieces of lavender.

Result
The result is the only thing I don’t like about this shampoo bar. It makes my hair feel stiff and greasy. I really wanted this product to work for me but it doesn’t. I have tried using a conditioner afterwards, which made it slightly better, but it still isn’t as good as my normal shampoo.
In conclusion; I love the idea, the smell and the duration of the bar, but the actual ‘cleaning of my hair part’ came out slightly disappointing.
